Original Grid Surfaces: (Single Stage to Orbit Concept)

Below are the surfaces that define a flow domain for a single stage to orbit vehicle, that is to be generated with arclength based Trans-Finite Interpolation. The surfaces in a typical GridGen data set can be all the facesfor a block, or some hodge podge conglomeration of surfaces. In this case, the first face is located at the K-min boundary, the second face is at the K-max boundary, the third face is at the I-min boundary, the fourth face is at the I-max boundary, the fifth face is at the J-min boundary, and the sixth face is at the J-max boundary.

Initial Surfaces for a Volume Grid

By reading in all the faces with the GridGen format, re-orienting the grids to be consistent with the computation coordinates chosen, the surfaces that define the volume grid are placed appropriately, and the volume grid initialized with 3DTFI.
